Safety Shoes
Footwear enquiries matched to impact, puncture, slip, electrical and workplace exposure requirements.
Safety Shoes: purpose and application
Safety shoes should be selected for the actual workplace hazard, not only the appearance of a reinforced toe. Workshops, construction sites, warehouses and kitchens can require different sole, upper and protective features. A metal toe cap alone does not establish puncture resistance, electrical protection or slip performance.
Selection and specification
Provide sizes, quantities, work surfaces and the required footwear standard or marking. Compare toe protection, penetration resistance, sole material, water resistance and fit. Electrical hazard and antistatic properties are different requirements and should not be treated as interchangeable. Ask for documentation for the exact model instead of relying on a brand logo.
Installation, inspection and limitations
Inspect soles, seams and protective areas for damage or contamination. Footwear subjected to a significant impact may need replacement even when damage is not obvious. Good fit and compatibility with the work task matter during long shifts. Stock, sizes and genuine model availability require confirmation before ordering.

Common questions
Are all steel-toe shoes electrically safe?
No. Toe construction does not prove electrical performance. Specify the exact required electrical or antistatic properties and check the model documentation.
