Provide an appliance schedule, hood and duct drawings, fuel type and photographs. Nozzle selection and placement must match the listed system instructions and the equipment beneath the hood. Include detection, manual activation, alarm interfaces and fuel or electrical shutdown requirements in the design scope. Moving a fryer or replacing a cooking appliance can change the required protection.
Installation, inspection and limitations
Grease cleaning and system servicing are complementary tasks. Inspect for obstructed nozzles, missing caps and altered appliances, and arrange qualified maintenance using the specified components.
